Audience Feedback 10th May - Theatre by the Lake, Keswick
‘Sorry for your Loss’ grew out of a discussion between dancer Zoë Leigh Gadd and fine artist Rosie Galloway-Smith which reflected on their shared experiences of complex grief. After discovering common themes within their practices, the idea for the piece was born and quickly developed to include the voice of professional soprano Victoria Barbé, who has also experienced deep grief.
The piece was developed intensively over a few weeks and was premiered at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick on the 10th of May as part of the Open Space Event.
It is currently being developed further and will be performed at the Scarborough Fringe Festival 2025.
Feedback from the live audience at Theatre by the Lake was particularly useful in giving encouragement and possibilities for refinement and we would like to thank them for the opportunity to perform.
